The different books laid out by Dasha to gain inspiration.
Today we sought to find inspiration and collectively brainstorm ideas to help further the design ideas of the 'structure' that will be used for a public space in Sneinton. It was inspiring to look at the modular designs that Aldo Van Eyck designed after the devastation of the war; which from he built playgrounds that which were simple but effective in encouraging children to use their own imagination with their own playtime.

Interesting use of different joints and how this could inform us with building our structure.
Another precedent which was also interesting to look at was the work 'Furtive'' which was done in Paris 1998 by the architects: Roche, DSV andSie. Which was the 'realisation of a nomadic and furtive flat,' as we are thinking of easy transportation of our structure, it was engaging to read how this structure provoked the public to have a reaction during the transportation.
Further inspiration was the AA School use of pallets to build a stage for the students crits; simple but effective use of the different levels for presenting; lower levels for the stage and higher for seating.
