We wanted to encourage the people of
Carrington to be involved contribute as many ideas as they can. One way we
thought would get the community to get involved was a free barbeque!
On the day of the street party/public
consultation, the food went down well and there was some good feeback. We even
had to do a second run to pick up more samosas. There was a range of drinks and
everyone seemed to be happy. We were happy that the rain stayed away, even
after we mentioned the word barbeque.
