December 2017: Exhibition at Nottingham Central Library (Phase 2)

Mapping Nottingham's Identity is now finishing Phase 2 (June 2017-December2017). This period has been devoted to working again with the community in Carrington, hoping to co-design a nicer Selkirk Way. We started the process with a few SWOT analysis as the basis for focus groups (June 2017). The results were analysed and following the main findings, members of the School of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment at Nottingham Trent University, prepared a number of design option which could support the development of Selkirk Way. These proposals were presented at a very successful Street Party (July 2017), when we had many comments to promote co-design with the community. The final result was published in this blog, and two more focus groups were organised to make sure the visuals responded to the community's voice and concerns (November 2017).
It is now time to showcase this year's work at Nottingham Central Library, where we are also introducing new questions as part of an on-going dialogue with people from Nottingham.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
